Maersk has introduced a weekly reefer rail service between Hyderabad’s and Nhava Sheva port. The partnership with CONCOR (Container Corporation of India) addresses a need for temperature-controlled, low carbon transport for the pharma sector. It operates on a fixed schedule, transporting 40-foot refrigerated containers and is already being used by several leading manufacturers. The service is designed to serve export lanes, including Europe, North America’s East Coast and Latin America.
