With three months to go before the UK's CHIEF customs platform, CHIEF is replaced by the Customs Declaration Service (CDS), freight forwarder Rhenus UK is encouraging exporters to take prompt steps to transition to the new system.
While import declarations shifted to CDS on 1 October 2022, the switchover for export declarations is scheduled for 30 November.
