Rotterdam welcomes rainbow alliance

[ May 12, 2021   //   ]

Rotterdam has welcomed Maersk’s vividly coloured rainbow containers, celebrating diversity and inclusion in the maritime and ports industry.

They arrived aboard the Maastricht Maersk arrived into APM Terminals Maasvlakte II terminal, part of a world tour, set to end in Denmark for Copenhagen Pride 2021, stopping at several locations across Asia and Europe on their way.

The boxes will be on display at Maasvlakte until 16 May, giving the employees of the terminal and of other AP Moller–Maersk brands a chance to sign them to symbolise their own personal commitment to diversity and inclusion.

After their stay in Rotterdam, the containers will travel across the Netherlands, visiting some of the landmarks of the country, as well as locations of participating customers and partners. Everyone is encouraged to take a picture and share on social media platforms using the hashtag #InclusionAllTheWay.
