UPS is to acquire life science logistics specialist, Marken, subject to regulatory approval for an undisclosed sum. Marken chief executive, Wes Wheeler, will continue to lead the business, which will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of UPS. The company has over 650 employees and 44 locations worldwide, including ten Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)-compliant depots.
