FedEx has made an offer for takeover target TNT Express of €8.00 per ordinary share, which the latter’s board has recommended to shareholders. The two companies add that positive advice and opinion has been obtained from TNT’s Central Works Council and the European Works Council. PostNL, which currently holds 14.7% of TNT Express shares, says it will also tender its shares under the offer.
